Set up in two minutes

You see what we find before anything is saved.

01

Search your name

Enter the name and date of birth exactly as they appear on your citation or court papers. You get three searches during set-up.

02

Confirm who it is

You, your child under 18, or someone who gave you permission. After you confirm, the name is locked so the account stays about one person.

03

We check every morning

New dates, moved dates, and new cases, the morning they reach the court calendar. Get an email, or add the dates to your phone's calendar.

What you get

Everything on the North Carolina criminal and infraction calendar for one person, kept current for you.

All your cases together

Every county, district and superior court, criminal and traffic, in one list with the next date for each.

New cases found for you

If a new case with your name and date of birth reaches the calendar, it is added that morning. Close spellings wait for you to confirm.

Changes by email

An early-morning email on days something changes, with the court, courtroom and session.

Your phone's calendar

Subscribe your phone or Google calendar and your court dates show up there too.

Charges spelled out

The charges listed on the calendar for each case, in words rather than codes.

Plain-English notes

If a date leaves the calendar we say so, and remind you that it does not mean your case was dismissed.

Please read

DocketSync is not legal advice and is not a lawyer. You are responsible for appearing in court whenever you are required to, whether or not DocketSync shows a date or sends an email. A court date that is no longer on the calendar does not mean your case was dismissed: contact your attorney or the clerk of court in the county where the case is filed. DocketSync is not affiliated with the North Carolina courts; see Court Data & Disclosures.

Questions

How do you find my cases?

We match your date of birth exactly and your first and last name as they appear on the North Carolina court calendar. Middle names are ignored, so a case listed with or without your middle name is still found.

What if my name is spelled differently on the court record?

Search again during set-up (you have three searches), using the spelling on your papers. After you confirm, records with the same date of birth and a close spelling are shown for you to confirm or mark "Not mine". Nicknames may not be found.

Can I track my child's court dates?

Yes, if your child is under 18 and you are the parent or legal guardian. Sign up with your own name and email, then enter your child's name and date of birth. To track another adult, you need their permission.

Are traffic tickets included?

Yes. Criminal and infraction (traffic) cases on the North Carolina court calendar are included, once the case has a court date.

Is this official court information?

No. DocketSync is a product of Basha Holdings LLC, built on licensed North Carolina court calendar data, and is not affiliated with the North Carolina Judicial Branch or the Administrative Office of the Courts. For an official record, contact the clerk of court in the county where your case is filed.

Do I still need to go to court?

Yes, whenever you are required to. DocketSync helps you keep track, but it is not a court notice, and a missed email or an update delay never changes when you have to appear.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, from your Account page. Cancelling during the 3-day trial means you are never charged. One free trial per card.
