Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account information: firm name, the names and email addresses of people you attach to the firm, sign-in times, and the terms version you accepted.
- Your case list: the case numbers you submit, plus any attorney assignment, client label and notes you add. This is your firm's data; we use it only to run the Service for you.
- Billing: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and billing status. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach our servers.
- Usage records: reports generated, downloads, changes to your roster, and technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) needed to secure and support the Service.
- Court calendar data: licensed from a North Carolina data provider and held by us; it is not collected from you.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: matching your cases, showing calendars, sending sign-in links, digests and alerts you opt into, and generating reports.
- To bill you and to respond to support requests.
- To keep the Service secure, investigate suspected misuse, and meet the obligations of our data license, including being able to show what the Service displayed and to whom.
- We do not sell personal information and do not use your case list for advertising or to build products for other customers.
Who else handles it (subprocessors)
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in (hosted in the United States) |
| Netlify | Web hosting and the functions that build reports |
| Cloudflare | Domain name services |
| Stripe | Payments and subscription management |
| Resend | Transactional email (sign-in links, digests, alerts) |
Each provider processes data only to deliver its service to us. We do not send your case list to advertising, analytics or AI providers.
Retention
- Your case list and account data are kept while your firm has an account and for a reasonable period afterwards so the account can be restored, then deleted on request or in the normal course.
- Records of reports generated and access logs are kept as long as needed to meet our data-license and security obligations.
- Billing records are kept as required by tax and accounting law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Each firm's data is isolated in the database so that one firm cannot read another's. Attorney logins are restricted to their own cases. Access to production systems is limited to Basha Holdings LLC. If we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify the account owner without undue delay.
Your choices
- The account owner can add or remove people, remove cases, turn digests on or off, and cancel the subscription from the Account page.
- Email support@opspilot.to to ask what we hold about your firm, to correct it, or to have the account and its data deleted.
Changes
We will post updates here and, for material changes, email the account owner.
